Payment between a buyer and a seller happens directly between them, outside Mawjoud. Mawjoud does not hold funds, does not act as an escrow, and cannot move money between accounts.
There is no Mawjoud checkout, wallet, or escrow service.
A listing price is what the seller is asking, not a charge made by Mawjoud.
Because the payment is between the two of you, agreeing how and when to pay is part of the deal.
If a deal goes wrong
Mawjoud cannot reverse a payment, but it can act on the listing and the account, and it keeps a record you can point to.
Report the listing or the user, with clear details.
Your Mawjoud chat history stays available to you as a record of what was agreed.
Staff review reports and can hide a listing or act on an account where policy was broken.
For the money itself, your bank or the relevant authority is the right place to go.
Paying more safely
Most payment problems on a local marketplace start before the money moves.
Inspect the item before you pay whenever you can.
Be cautious with any request for an advance deposit from someone you have not met.
Do not use delivery or holding links sent by a stranger.
Keep the conversation in Mawjoud chat so there is a record.
