What cannot be listed on Mawjoud, and what may be held for review.
Do not list unsafe or illegal items
Mawjoud may block, hide, or send listings to review when they appear unsafe, restricted, misleading, or illegal.
- Alcohol, drugs, narcotics, or drug paraphernalia.
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or unsafe weapon accessories.
- Prescription medicine, controlled medical products, or unsafe health claims.
- Counterfeit goods, stolen items, forged documents, personal data, or illegal services.
Restricted categories need extra care
Some categories may be allowed only when the seller has the right license, evidence, or approval.
- Real estate listings may need FAL and advertisement-license details.
- Vehicles may need registration review before a trust badge is shown.
- Animals, services, and regulated goods may need special permits depending on the case.
Paid promotion is not an exception
Advertising products cannot bypass safety, licensing, moderation, or verification.
- A promoted listing can still be held, hidden, or removed.
- Trust badges cannot be bought.
- Reports and review outcomes stay separate from ads.
