Mawjoud is a free classifieds marketplace in Saudi Arabia. It lets people publish listings and contact each other. Posting a listing and browsing are free.
Mawjoud is not the seller or the buyer of any listed item and is not a party to a deal between users.
Mawjoud does not hold, transfer or guarantee payments between buyers and sellers.
Listings, prices and descriptions are written by the people who post them.
Your account
You need an account to post, message, save searches or buy ad products. Keep your sign-in details to yourself.
Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for what is done from your account.
You may delete listings at any time. You close your own account from Settings: «إغلاق الحساب» (“Close account”). Personal details are kept for 1 year after that.
Listings and conduct
A listing must describe a real item or service that you have the right to offer, honestly and in the right category. The seller rules and the prohibited items page are part of these terms.
No prohibited, stolen, counterfeit or unsafe items, and no misleading prices or photos.
No harassment, spam, or attempts to move people to unsafe payment methods.
Real-estate listings are not open yet; they will require the licences the regulator asks for.
Moderation, reports and appeals
Mawjoud may hold, hide or remove content that breaks these terms, using automated checks and human review. You are told when this happens to your content and you can appeal.
Anyone signed in can report a listing, a comment or a review.
An appeal is reviewed by a person; the outcome is sent to you as a notification.
Repeated or serious violations can lead to the account being restricted.
Paid ad products and the ad balance
Promotion is optional. Ad products (such as Boost, Premium and banner placements) are bought with a prepaid ad balance in Saudi riyals, at the prices shown in the Ad Center for the chosen city and dates.
A paid product is never added to a listing unless you choose it.
Placements with your own text, link or image are reviewed first; the amount is reserved and returned in full if the placement is not approved.
Cancelling a booking returns the days not yet used to your ad balance; the day in progress counts as used.
Prices are before VAT; VAT is added where it applies. Promotional and bonus credit has an expiry date shown in the wallet and cannot be exchanged for cash.
The ad balance can be spent only on Mawjoud ad products and cannot be transferred to another account.
Safety and responsibility
Deals happen between users. Inspect before you pay, meet in a safe public place, and never share one-time codes or bank details. Mawjoud provides the service as it is and does not guarantee any item, seller or buyer.
Verification badges describe a check that was done; they are not a guarantee of a deal.
To the extent the law allows, Mawjoud is not liable for losses from deals between users.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service grows. The date at the top changes when they do, and a material change is announced in the app.
